Amazing Music Tech Camp!!!!

These students are all going into 7-9th grade, and they have just finished composing a piece for full band. They are awesome! I already have one friend who wants to hear their pieces and possibly play them with his sixth grade band. It’s great that they wrote a beginning band piece because there is not a lot of good literature for that grade level. All the wind parts have only quarter notes, half notes, and whole notes, and it only uses the first 6 notes of the Bb major scale. They’ve had a lot of fun writing the percussion parts as well. First of all, I’m glad everything went so well with the Music Tech Camp. I haven’t yet listened to all the kids works, but I will soon.
