I was inspired by the movie “Madagascar” for this song because I thought of the dancing Lemurs. This assignment was to show our use of the rapture and TTS-1 soft synths.
This song was written for a girl I used to date (you wouldn’t know by hearing it, cause the lyrics can’t be deciphered since vocals can’t be recorded on this software). This would be considered a power ballad.
Pitter-Patter From the Sky by James Moore
This is the 1st movement of a 6 movement composition that I’m working on.
The whole musical composition is called “Waterway”, and is a 6 movement (or 7, I haven’t really decided yet) compsition. This composition is not an assignment we were given in class, rather, I am writing it in my spare time. In this song, the music tells of a drop of water as it travels through the world. Each movement in this song is another point on the path of the water driplet.
Here are the titles of the movements.
Movement 1: Pitter-Patter From the Sky
Movement 2: Riverflow
Movement 3: Drifting Along on a Lazy Lake
Movement 4: In The Blue, Blue Sea
Movement 5-6 (or 7): I haven’t thought of a title yet
