Music Technology students just started learning how to write for different time signatures, drums, and various rhythms.

Students from Advanced Music Tech have worked on ringtones and video game music recently and their posts are located under the “recent posts” column on the right hand side.

Woodbridge Senior High School has received a $4,000 Teach Award from Best Buy Co. Inc. for integrating interactive technology into its classroom curriculum! That means the Music Technology lab gets to buy $4,000 worth of technology equipment from Best Buy!

It’s that time of year again! Check out the new Winter Song from Advanced Music Technolgy class! To hear their newest work, click on the drop down menu on the right and select any of the students in Advanced Music Technology. Or you can just click on one of the recent posts.

Check out the new Woodbridge Senior High School student music! Students in Music Tech wrote a percussion ensemble piece, and the students in Advanced music Tech did a remix of “Reckoning” by Radiohead. Check out their music on the drop down menu on the right hand side.

Music Tech students just finished their first beginning band piece, and everyone’s music is posted online now. Advanced Music Tech kids just finished a piece of music utilizing the DropZone soft synth in Mixcraft/Sonar. Enjoy!

It is now possible to subscribe to anyone’s music! This means you can automatically download their music onto your computer as it gets posted. To subscribe to a student’s podcast, go to the drop-down menu on the right hand side and click on their name. Then follow the directions posted.

Check out new music by Prince William County Middle School students! Click on the drop down menu on the right and look under ”Music Tech Camp 08″ and choose a name. Students completed one song for full band during the first week of camp, and then made several songs using MixCraft software during the second week of camp. The amazing thing is that these students are going into 7th, 8th, and 9th grades!

Hear the latest and the greatest from Music Technology class at Woodbridge Senior High School! You don’t want to miss this new music. Students are learning about how to create their own sounds using the Rapture soft synth and Cakewalk Sonar software.
